BOB Gateway Is Live on Socket and Bungee

Socket is one of the most established cross-chain routing protocols in DeFi - the infrastructure layer that developers and protocols build on to move assets across chains. Bungee is their consumer interface built on top of it: $30B+ in volume, 5M+ unique addresses, 50+ chains.

BOB Gateway is now live on both.

Through this integration, BOB Gateway becomes a provider on Socket's network - enabling native BTC as a source and destination across Socket's routing engine and directly inside Bungee's interface.

A mutual integration

This is not the first time BOB Gateway and Socket have worked together. BOB Gateway already uses Socket as part of its own routing system.

Now the relationship runs in both directions. Socket recently enabled Bitcoin as a source and destination across its network. BOB Gateway is one of the first providers making those routes real - bringing native BTC in and out of Socket's ecosystem at the best available rate, without wrapping, without a custodian.

Native BTC, across the full stack

For Bungee users: Native BTC swaps are now available directly inside Bungee's interface. Users who hold Bitcoin can move it cross-chain, convert to other assets or take positions - without leaving Bungee and without going through a custodian.

For developers building on Socket: BOB Gateway's native BTC routing is now accessible through Socket's API. Any app that integrates Socket can now offer native BTC as a source or destination, with BOB Gateway handling the Bitcoin side.

BOB Gateway as a BTC routing provider

Socket's architecture works through a network of providers, each competing to deliver the best route for each swap. BOB Gateway is the provider for native BTC. The Bitcoin Intents system routes each swap through the fastest and cheapest path: Bitcoin moves to the destination chain via BOB Gateway's intent-based model, where professional liquidity providers quote to deliver the best available rate.

For users on Bungee or any app built on Socket, that process is invisible. They specify what they want - native BTC in or native BTC out. BOB Gateway handles the execution.
