Velora is now part of the infrastructure powering BOB Gateway’s best-in-class cross-chain BTC swaps.
The goal is to build the best engine for native BTC swaps in the market. BOB Gateway already delivers best rates on BTC ↔ stablecoin and wBTC swaps. Adding Velora means the engine has access to deeper liquidity on every swap.
Deeper liquidity for native BTC swaps
Velora rebranded from ParaSwap in April 2025, moving from a single-chain DEX aggregator to a full cross-chain trading protocol built on intent-based architecture. It aggregates liquidity across 170+ protocols on 12 chains, combining open onchain sources with exclusive pricing from market makers.
For users, it means BOB Gateway has more liquidity depth to work with when computing the best route for a native BTC swap. More sources competing for the same trade, including market makers offering pricing that isn't available on open markets. The engine evaluates all of it and surfaces the best quote.
