BOB Gateway Goes Live on DZap

Native Bitcoin swap routes are now available inside DZap's cross-chain aggregation platform.

DZap has integrated the BOB Gateway API, adding native Bitcoin liquidity paths to its EVM routing infrastructure. This is what BOB Gateway was built to do: be the invisible infrastructure that plugs in at the API level, no new tools or workflows required.

Best-rate native BTC swaps with zero friction

BTC swap routes that didn't exist on DZap before are now live, accessible through both the DZap frontend app and the DZap API.

When a user initiates a BTC swap on DZap's frontend, or a developer calls the DZap API, BOB Gateway handles routing and liquidity in the background.

Supported assets at launch: wBTC, USDT, USDC, and ETH, all tradeable against Bitcoin through BOB Gateway routes.

DZap's routing engine compares every available BTC bridge in real time. BOB Gateway competes on quote quality - speed, fees, slippage, reliability. When it has the best rate, and for wBTC bridging it does, it wins the route automatically. Users swap Bitcoin inside the same aggregator they already use.

The integration also supports hardware wallets and CEX deposits.

"It took less than a week to integrate native BTC into DZap swaps flows using the BOB Gateway API. The docs are clean, the API is well put together and the team were very supportive - plus they are clearly Bitcoin interoperability experts. BOB is a strong partner for any project looking to build serious Bitcoin ecosystem exposure," says Shivam Chopra, CEO at DZap.

Gateway as the entry point for multichain DeFi

This integration goes beyond simple bridging. DZap's Chain Hopping feature routes transactions across multiple chains in sequence. BOB Gateway handles the BTC leg, and DZap takes care of the rest. Together, Bitcoin can travel from its origin chain all the way to a final position on any EVM or Solana protocol, without the user touching a second app.

In practice, that looks like this: A user can go from native BTC through BOB Gateway to Avalanche, then via DZap's routing to a lending position on Base or an LP on Solana. BOB Gateway is the first leg. DZap handles everything after.

DZap integrators get BTC routes automatically

Every developer building on the DZap API now has access to BOB Gateway's BTC routes without additional integration work. As BOB Gateway expands its supported assets and chains, those routes flow through to every downstream app automatically.

This is how one API-level integration unlocks BTC liquidity for every builder in DZap's network.

What's next

$1.5 trillion in Bitcoin. Less than 1% earns yield today. Most of it sits idle because moving BTC into DeFi has been too complicated.

BOB is building the Bank of Bitcoin - a platform for swapping, saving, earning and borrowing, all on Bitcoin rails. BOB Gateway is an important piece of this puzzle: the distribution layer designed to bring BTC liquidity to where users and builders already are.

More assets and chains are coming, and with them, more trade pairs against Bitcoin. Every new route that BOB Gateway supports is automatically available to DZap users and every app built on the DZap API.

"Every integration like DZap means more surface area for Bitcoin in DeFi, without forcing anyone to leave the tools they already use," says Alexei Zamyatin, co-founder of BOB. "That's how we win: make Bitcoin available everywhere, one integration at a time."

Builders can integrate BOB Gateway directly via the Gateway SDK and API docs.
