The referral program launches in beta on December 18th and will run for an initial 6 months, with the potential to extend.

  • Ongoing/passive payouts: Claimable on the last day of each month

Rewards are paid in wBTC on BOB. When payouts become available, you can claim them directly from the referral hub via the claim portal.


$BOB Milestone Bonuses

To reward active referrers, BOB will also introduce $BOB token bonuses tied to volume milestones. As you hit certain thresholds of total BTC volume referred, you unlock bonus $BOB rewards on top of your ongoing wBTC fee share.

How do I sign up?

Click the button “Join referral program’ on the BOB Gateway app and connect your wallet to generate your unique referral link.

Is KYC needed to participate?

There is no KYC. Wallet addresses are screened using industry-standard blockchain analytics tools and IP geofencing to meet legal requirements. Participation is void where prohibited by law.

How are referrals tracked?

You refer a user once via your referral link, and their wallet is linked to your referral code in the system. All their future transactions are attributed to you for the duration of the program.

What if my referral volumes don't show up on the dashboard?

As the program launches in beta, aggregated volumes will be fully displayed in January. If something doesn't appear immediately, don't worry - all referral activity is being tracked and will be properly attributed.

How do I promote my referral link?

Share it anywhere - social media, community channels, or directly with friends. Any user who transacts through your link is attributed to you.

How is my fee share calculated?

You earn 20% of the Gateway protocol fees generated by your referrals' transaction volume.

What asset do I earn?

wBTC on BOB mainnet.

When do I get paid?
